5-Amino/MIC For Sale

Description

5-Amino MIC Research Blend Standard

5-Amino MIC is a multi-component, co-formulated aqueous research blend containing 5-Amino-1MQ (chloride salt) alongside L-Carnitine, Inositol, Choline bitartrate, and Methionine. Designed for investigative laboratory research into metabolic pathway modulation, this blend allows for the concurrent administration of a Nicotinamide N-methyltransferase (NNMT) inhibitor with metabolic co-factors and lipotropic agents. Please note that as a co-formulated mixture, this material is not a single-compound reference standard; researchers should account for the synergistic potential of the combined constituents in their experimental design.

Research Context & Limitations

This blend is intended for researchers seeking to evaluate the interplay between NNMT inhibition and metabolic cofactor support in a single experimental model.

Multi-Pathway Investigation: By combining an NNMT inhibitor with L-carnitine and methyl donors (methionine/choline), this blend facilitates studies investigating the preservation of NAD+ salvage pathways in conjunction with enhanced mitochondrial fatty acid transport.
Experimental Attribution: Because this is a co-formulated solution, it is not appropriate for single-analyte isolation studies. Researchers should be aware that observed biological effects cannot be attributed to a single constituent without parallel controls using individual compounds.
Analytical Use: For studies requiring high-precision dosage verification or single-analyte characterization, individual reference standards are required rather than this multi-component blend.

Storage & Handling Guidelines

Store at controlled room temperature.

Storage guidance is a house recommendation. Analytical documentation is per-lot release testing.

Analytical Documentation

Purity, identity, and composition vary by manufacturing lot. Kimera Chems does not publish a single fixed purity figure for this item; refer to the batch-specific Certificate of Analysis (COA) issued for the lot received, which reflects third-party analytical testing for that lot. Contact us if a COA for your lot is required.
